The Blackthorne lineage has been around for centuries. Recently added are images and a partial history of our lineage, but the short version is that we arose between Norway and Scotland long ago and have been keeping company over the ages with interesting folks from both prominent and obscure families, opportunistic privateer individuals of the American Southern coastal areas (Bermuda Triangle, Devil's Tramping Ground, and the Cape Fear/ Graveyard of the Atlantic regions to name a few), various historical (and plenty of hysterical) characters, pirates, and even a nice fellow named Howard that loves crafts and went to the Arctic while writing about small, secluded places in New England.
Our current retail endeavor was borne from Maelstrom Sterling Blackthorne- read more about him in our "Legacy" section.
We specialize in unique, upfit, and antique bespoke furnishings that convey the history of the adventure that got them to your presence. We also provide fine 3D prints for the bespoke gothic home. Perhaps our items may have a future in your home where you will care for them as our lineage has.
Our diverse customer base includes discerning collectors, film, television, and various production houses. Rentals are an option, but generally direct sales are preferred. Feel free to inquire about renting from the collection if that's your interest.
Our curated antique items have moderate flexibility in price. We cater to the appreciative recipient that recognizes their value and is capable of affording them an adequate future for years to come.
Our newer or unadulterated items have an accordingly lower price point so that you may clean/ refinish/ upfit them for the next stage of their journey. If you feel that you wish to negotiate on price, please feel free to- but understand that not all offers will be received to the intent of the customer.
Our newer items may have existed for a decade or less prior to upfit; older items may have been loved in various locations for several centuries unadulterated. What we offer is the chance to own and celebrate a piece of history and move it forward with your love and respectful appreciation. Your excitement at each piece of history tells us how we should allocate it to its owner... Or hold it accordingly. Caveat emptor.

There is currently no physical storefront, but after the HUGELY POSITIVE, incredibly warm reception at the Indy DoTD event, I am going to be reworking part of the castle to open it for buyer consultation sessions in the coming months. Meanwhile, I'm working on get items on sites like Chairish, 1stDibs, and other fine retailers soon.
